Jade Wave Rising: Portraits of Power

“The exhibition aims to bring visibility to the myriad of ways API woman artists have embodied, expressed and practiced their own power through art-making and community work.” My scroll entitled “Power Can Be Quiet” (pictured on the far right) is part of the Sansei Granddaughters’ Journey Collective’s installation.

"Spaces of Belonging" features artwork by four local artists: Frances Paragon Arias, Ellen Bepp, Ted Fullwood and Flo Oy Wong. Each has been instrumental in creating "spaces of belonging" and inspiring new beginnings through their community-based work and art.
